HISTORY OF FUTMinna MSS
The Federal University of Technology, Minna, Model Secondary School, (FUTMinna MSS), sited inside the Bosso campus of the University was conceptualized and actualized by the Visioneer Prof. M.S. Audu, the erstwhile Vice Chancellor of the University on 2nd October, 2012.
The Model Secondary School is clearly waxing stronger by days, ushering in innovations aimed at wheeling towards her Motto ”Technology for Empowerment”.
The school is blessed with well-disciplined, role models and highly-skilled staff with minimum qualification of first degree in different disciplines.
The school is fully accredited by WAEC and NECO.
We are always aspiring to be the best and a feeder to the University.

Prof. E. Raymond
Brief personal statement: A strong advocate of collaborative and cooperative efforts towards solving problems. Nobody has the monopoly of knowledge and experience, hence working together can lead to outstanding outcomes.
Brief Biography: Prof. E. Raymond was born on 2nd December, 1970 at Fuka, Niger State, Nigeria. He hails from kafin-koro District of Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State. Prof. E. Raymond is currently a Professor of Industrial & Technology Education in the School of Science and Technology Education, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. He holds B. Ed.Tech Electronics/Electrical Technology degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He obtained both M. Ed. Tech. and PhD degrees in Industrial & Technology Education from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has been teaching at the University level for over 17 years. He has supervised and currently supervising several M.Tech and PhD theses. Prof. E. Raymond is a member of professional bodies.

The disciplinarian and a distinguished academician due to
excellent track records in School Management was inaugurated under the
administration of the VC-Prof. Musbau Adewumi Akanji to manage this citadel of
learning.

Biography
He hails from Offa, in Kwara State, attended Holy Trinity
Basic School, Titcombe College, Egbe.
He skilfully managed First Baptist Secondary Schools,
Maiduguri as a Chairman of the School Management Board from 1978 to 1982.
This academia also continued in the management lifestyle as a
proficient Chairman of the School Management Board of Niger Baptist Schools
from 2003 to 2009.
He is the very efficient Management Board Chairman of the
Model Secondary School right from 2013 till date.
